Elite Finishing Supplies offers a complete line of water-based finishing products, featuring Fuhr Industrial Wood Coatings. We also specialize in mirror silvering using Elite's Mirror Silvering Spray System and supplies.
Elite started out as a full service furniture restoration shop in 1988, refinishing everything from used furniture to fine antiques. We started our business with the idea that we were going to use water-based finish on our furniture and we have since we opened our doors. We knew we would be stripping a lot of old finishes; varnish, shellac, lacquer, hand rubbed, sprayable, stains, polyurethane, wipe-on varnish, Danish oil and brushable coatings to name a few.
As we became more experienced we determined that there was a need for distributors of quality water-based products and finishing supplies. We started out distributing to other restoration shops and antique refinishers. We soon expanded into supplying water-based finishing products to millworks, cabinetmakers, prefinishers, furniture makers, door finishers, floor finishers and a variety of other woodworking industries. Through the years water-based finishes have made many improvements, using different resins and formulations.
